Visits & Events

Events at our animal park in Sheffield

Events are a big part of what we do at Mayfield Alpacas Animal Park, and you will find an exciting programme of fun activities all year round. There's something to see and do for all the family, so why not visit us today in Sheffield. If you would like to find out more, just call us on 01142 630033.

What's to see and do

Entry to the Animal Park is just £3.50 per adult (15+ years) and £1.50 per child (3-14 years). A walk around the park enables you to see the whole variety of animals we keep at Mayfield Alpacas Animal Park, with plenty of helpful and informative boards full of interesting facts about the animals.

The site also offers fantastic views across the Mayfield Valley, so there really is plenty to see. For special events, please keep an eye on our Facebook page to see what's coming up.

Annual passes: We now offer annual passes so you can visit as many times as you wish in a 12 month period. The pass will also get you reduced entry on our special event days and community projects.

Prices: £15.00 (Adult: 15+ years)
£6.50 (Child: 3-14 years)

Our coffee shop

Our coffee shop offers the chance to relax with a cup of fresh coffee and a slice of home made cake in our visitor centre.

Hot and cold foods are available throughout the day, from soup to delicious toasted paninis, so you can stay fed and refreshed during your visit.

Toddler club

The group takes place every Tuesday (10am – 12). The cost is £3.00 per child, with 1 free adult per paying toddler. The group is run by a leader with years of experience running outdoor forest schools and toddler clubs.

Children will take part in a variety of activities, will interact with some of our many animals, learn about all aspects of nature and the environment around us as well as cooking a snack over the campfire. Unless the weather is extremely bad all activities will take place outside in our designated toddler club activities centre.
